The kids run off in opposite directions as we pass from the tropical conservatories to the aquariums.
It’s definitely a nice change of pace to head to the butterfly house, even though I mostly end up corralling the kids.
Between a lot going on at work, the kids frequently being home sick and my wife changing jobs things have been hectic lately.
At least it’s been possible to work from the office regularly, which is fantastic from a social standpoint. Spending some time together with people on my team that I’ve never met in person is just great, as is seeing some familiar faces again.
I also get to borrow a collapsible Summicron 50 from a colleague. After having used the same gear for over a year it’s definitely fun to explore something unfamiliar again.
