Gräsö in May

Her nap by the sea did wonders for her mood. As we make our way home she scurries along merrily, examining what seems like every pine cone, stick, ant and fallen tree along the way.

After having to postpone going to our country house time after time, it’s great to finally head here. We even did some puzzling that allowed us to stay for a full week.

The air is cool and damp as I step out onto the stairs. I hurry to the guesthouse, open up my laptop and tap myself into the first meeting of the day.

I work for a few days. I manage to get a lot done while my wife and her dad hang out with the kids.

The weather picks up over the long weekend. We take turns to go swimming with our oldest. It’s so cold that the skin hurts. But she doesn’t mind. Her lips are blue when we finally convince her it’s time to get up.
