Recently: October

From one year to the next I tend to forget how nice it can be to shoot during autumn. The sun hangs low in the sky and the light is gentle with bountiful, saturated colors.

Usually I find it difficult to make time for photography during this time of year – it’s often quite busy. That the low sun sets earlier by the day makes it even trickier.

However as I’m still on parental leave for a while, I tend to spend at least part of the day outside.

This is obviously focused on the needs of my kid, not on pursuing interesting photographic opportunities, but there are still a few more chances to shoot than during the average autumn.

Now the range of activities has admittedly been narrow lately, particularly due to a once again increasing corona virus case count. But we’ve fortunately been healthy and the day to day has still been pleasant for the most part.

So then, October summed up – a month fondly remembered.

We spent hours here, at her favorite puddle.

GEAR used in this entry: Leica M Typ 262 and Voigtländer 50/1.2.
